Use the calculators (see side-bar) to quickly quantify the number of tonnes of CO2-e emissions that you need to purchase to reduce or eliminate your contribution to climate change. At anytime you can view the shopping cart to check or modify your selections.
Each credit represents an offset of 1 tonne of CO2. Each credit costs $20 (including GST). Following your purchase we will email you a tax invoice and certificate advising of your purchase of certified carbon offsets.
Balance Carbon only purchases certified carbon credits through the Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO) Climate Friendly Program or the New South Wales Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme. Both of these schemes provide you with the confidence of governmental oversight of the credits to ensure real reductions in emissions are occurring. Our guarantee to you, is that your investment will be reflected in real CO2 reductions – for every tonne you purchase we will surrender an equivalent number of certified carbon credits through one of these schemes.
All transactions will be processed through the PayPal secure transaction server. Charges are all in Australian Dollars and GST is applied to all purchases (regardless of country of origin).
