Matt Shorten
Matt brings to BalanceCarbon a strong background in holistic environmental management, developed through experience in private and public sector projects. These projects related to ecosystem rehabilitation, revegetation, strategic planning, policy development, environmental auditing and industry education. Over the course of Matt’s professional career he has been responsible for working with hundreds of organisations to foster improved environmental performance through industrial site reviews, education and training. Works have always focused on environmental stewardship and eco-efficiency opportunities, which provide for economic returns through environmental improvement. During 2001 Matt founded the Adelaide Branch of Surfrider Foundation and was President for a three year term.
